"M.O.A.B."

"Mother of all Bombs" by Lorraine E. Leslie

This is another painting inspired by a dream I had one night. Or maybe it was more
of a nightmare? I saw a madonna, holding a "little boy" with a mushroom cloud for
a head. Women have the power to give birth to little boys who will either grow up to build atomic bombs that destroy or they will grow up to hold all life sacred.
"Little Boy," I later found out after researching, was the name of the bomb that was dropped on Hiroshima during WW2.
The bomb that was dropped on Nagasaki was
called "Fat Man."

This painting will be shown at El Museo Cultural
555 Camina de la Familia, Santa Fe, NM
Opening reception 5pm-7pm

"Wolf Girl"

I had a dream one night that a male wolf came to me and bit me on the neck. He then told me that on the next full moon, I too, would become a wolf.
At the foot of my bed, he left me the bloody haunches of an animal he had just killed and on a table next to my head, he left me a vase of red roses.
This painting was inspired by that dream.
